Expertise
My academic journey began with an engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University, followed by graduate studies at Columbia University and Dartmouth College. During this time, I published multiple papers exploring the intersection of machine learning, creative computing, and music.
Outside of my professional work, I maintain a creative practice as a composer and DJ. Over the years, my genre—spanning original compositions, productions, and remixes—has been featured on vinyl, CD, and digital releases, as well as in film and modern dance. I’ve also had the privilege of performing in a dozen US states and several countries.

Graduate School Thesis
My graduate school thesis explores three main areas: automated remix deconstruction using machine learning, evolving remixes through iterative generation, and the historical evolution of remixes over time.
